Today, she rechecked his levels & it went down to 18. So no further interventions are needed now. It seems to just be because he is exclusively breastfed & therefore I guess at higher risk. Levels peak usually 4-5 days postpartum & he seems to have passed that point now.
It's been a crazy week with the sleep schedule, but I think we are getting smarter about it. I slept for 2 3-hour shifts in a row last night with the exception of a breastfeeding session & Jon slept for a 6 1/2 hour shift after that. We figured out that he needs to be completely swaddled tightly for him to tolerate sleeping on his back. We are going to try for his to sleep in our room again tonight, instead of doing shifts & see how that goes.
